Year-End Inspection
Year-End Inspection

When The Warranty Cover Begins And Ends
Your one year warranty begins the day you to take possession to the home.
What’s Covered Under The One Year Warranty
Your home must be free from defects in workmanship and materials and;
- Safe to live in
- Meet the Ontario Building Code
- Free of major structural defects
The Goal
The goal of the Year-End inspection is to identify any warranty issues that have surfaced in the first year. We will also report items not cover under the Tarion Warranty but should be repaired or replaced.
When To Submit Your Year-End Warranty Forms
Tarion requires that you submit your Year-End forms in the last 30 days of your first year. You must use the proper Tarion forms. You can only submit one Year-End form so you must be sure it has been properly filled out and complete. If you don’t submit your year-end form on time then your first year warranty items will not be covered.
