The Exterior Inspection

Exterior Materials

Inspection Process
With the exterior inspection we take a micro and macro approach, which just means we look at the house up close and from a distance. Looking at the house from a distance, say from across the street will give us the big picture of the home, while looking up close will give us the details. As we walk around the home we will exam all wall surfaces for cracks, deterioration and poor workmanship. The caulking is checked around all doors, windows and penetrations through the wall. We also inspect walkways, stairs, railings, porches, decks for any safety issues. And we will also inspect the garage and check and test garage doors. We check the lot grading around your home. We want any water to drain away from the house and not into your basement.
